You are eligible for promotional credit if you have an active membership (i.e., keep your account in good standing).
Promotional credit applies only to your 1st purchase (even if it's less than the coupon value) made within 30 days from your receipt of the credit (unless the offer states an earlier expiration date) and not to shipping & service fees, membership costs, gift cards or alcohol. You will be charged for all purchases that exceed the promotional credit. If the offer states it's for a specific merchant, then your 1st purchase must also be from that merchant.
While we may need to authorize your payment method for the total amount of your order without the promotional credit, the promotional credit will be reflected in the amount actually charged to your payment method. This is why the promotional credit won't apply to orders placed with a prepaid or virtual card, if the card issuer won't authorize the hold.
