The AT875R is designed for sound recording in video and broadcast production (ENG/EFP). Audio-Technica's shortest directional microphone conveniently attaches to DV camcorders without noticeably adding weight, and is ideally suited for use with compact digital cameras. This high-performance microphone features the narrow coverage angle typical of pressure gradient and condenser designs. It also provides smooth, natural on-axis sound and excellent rejection of noise from the back and sides of the microphone. The AT875R weighs just 80g and, at only 175mm long, is one of the shortest directional microphones on the professional market.
