Gorgeous looking soprano ukulele. This ukulele is suitable for those who are looking for a top quality instrument that looks exotic but doesn't break the bank. Its a real eye grabber with the unique grain of the wood, that was the first thing I noticed with this uke. It is not a solid wood ukulele, its made from a laminate which keeps the price reasonable. Don't let that put you off as it really does produce a gorgeous tone. If this particular uke was infact made in a solid wood it would be 3x the price and might sound 10% better. I like it just the way it is!
