The Nitecore D2 Digicharger is an excellent two bay charger, capable of charging 2 batteries simultaneously. The D2 is able to detect the battery type and status and then applies the appropriate voltage and charging mode except for LiFePO4 which will have to be manually selected. An awesome feature of the D2 is that when the charging is complete it will automatically power off so there's no worry about over charging the battery. The D2 also has an LCD display that lets the user know the charging progress, battery type, voltage, charging current, and charging time. There are two conveniently placed side buttons that allows the user to easily select the specific battery types and charging parameters. For safety, the D2 has reverse polarity protection and over-charge prevention, monitors the temperature to prevent over-heating, and is designed for optimal heat dissipation.
