The RESCUE WHY Trap is used outdoors to lure and trap a variety of stinging insects, including wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets. The two-chamber design is perfect for wasps and hornets in the top chamber and yellow jackets in the bottom chamber. The WHY Trap lures insects into the trap where they can't escape and eventually die. The WHY Trap includes a 3-part lure that lasts 2 weeks. To use, tear open the lure kit pouch and identify all three of the lure components. Remove both the bottom and top caps. Remove all contents from the top chamber. Cut open the yellow attractant tube and pour the contents onto the felt disc in the bottom cap. Next, thread the bottom cap back onto the bottom of the trap. Cut open and pour the green WHY attractant tube contents into the top chamber. Add water to the top chamber to bring the liquid level to the start line marked on the side of the top chamber. Tear open the attractant vial pouch and remove the vial. Pop the vial top cap open and snap into any one of three vial holders on the underside of the top cap. Thread the top cap back onto the trap and pull up on the top cap tab to open the entrance for the insects. Thread the twist tie through the hole at the top and hang away from human activity areas to enjoy a nearly bug-free backyard! In areas with high populations of stinging insects, pair the WHY Trap with the RESCUE Wasp TrapStik (sold separately) for maximum control.
